The 2012 North Carolina Persian Festival celebrates the rich and ancient culture, history, arts, and traditions of the people of Iran.

The Festival includes a wide array of live performances of traditional, folkloric, contemporary, pop, and modern classical Persian music
and dance.

Persian carpets, handicrafts, embroidery, calligraphy and paintings will be on display in the extensive cultural exhibition along with film clips and animations that explore the history, geography, and cities of Iran from the time of the Persian Empire and Cyrus the Great to the present.
